ITAC Activities

When TMS was first announce, after training officers had been "trained" via cyber seminar. I compiled the following issues from NR AOs and Sherry responded in the attached Word doc. I wonder how many of these issues still exist.

• Obligation process is confusing.
• Problems forwarding to supervisors, email LOOP.
• Would like to know if a person has been accepted to NTC training before having to go through the trouble of filling out the form.
• No clear direction on forwarding to next supervisor, where does forwarding end?
• Not clear on how to handle nominations for NTC.
• It is hard to track the status of the documents.
• Concerned about the backlog of evaluations not getting done and whether people are going to get credit for the course.
• Wants system to notify Admin personnel when the employee has been accepted into a course.
• Wants to receive training announcements through email instead of looking them up on the Lotus bulleting board.
• Confusion determining if obligation/approval process is completed.
• Under the understanding that employees have to initiate the process.
• Forms need to specify which fields are "required", so that I do not have to go back and forth because I missed one specific field.
