I have spoken with two reps from Microsoft and received two answers to my question of whether MOM requires SQL Server. One yes, one no. I believe this document attached -stating that is does not require it, but recommends it. I think we can safely include MOM in the distribution, and recommend for small deployments offices use access as the data base.
