Spent 5 years in the army from 1999-2004. Studied at University of Washington and finished my degree at University of Phoenix. For the last 7 years I have been working in the information technology field. Started off working for Verizon in Las Vegas, where I managed Assets and supported the stores technology needs. However, a couple years later I felt like I wanted to work for a purpose and to support science for a greater cause. So, I was able to find a position with the Nevada Water Science Center here in Carson City, NV. The last 4 years I have moved from a help desk technician to now the help desk lead, and also supporting the Bureau Unix Technical Support Team. This team handles all the technical aspects for UNIX and MAC base operating systems, creates documentation for end users, and offers training materials for the centers. Furthermore, I am the NWIS System Administrator at my center and work very closely with the field office. Making sure they have the tools to succeed with an Information Technology perspective. I look forward to meeting everyone and excited to be a part of the team.
