Discovering new river corridor data can be challenging due to their inherent spatial and temporal sparsity. The River Corridors on ScienceBase web viewer aims to simplify the discovery and exploration of USGS river corridor data releases.
Disclaimer: These datasets were identified through an automated process using standard metadata from ScienceBase.gov. As a result, the findings may not be exhaustive. Spatial categories were assigned to each dataset based on the bounding box coordinates provided in the metadata. However, the actual spatial extent of a dataset may differ from the assigned category, depending on the dataset’s complexity or the accuracy of the metadata. The river corridor datasets compiled here are updated biannually and cataloged on an internal ScienceBase Community page .
