Identify ways you can save water in your home.
-
Fix leaky toilets and faucets. One leaky faucet can use up
to 15,000 liters of water per month.
-
Install a low-flow showerhead. This will allow water in showers
to flow at 11 liters per minute.
-
Install a toilet displacement device. Place one to three weighted
plastic jugs into the tank and ensure that the jugs do not interfere
with the flushing mechanism. This method can save thousands of
liters of water per year.
