LOCATION.--Lat 43°05'44.2", long 75°45'04.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Madison County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 04140202, at upstream right end of bridge on State Highway 13 at Canastota, 1,500 ft north of New York State Thruway (Interstate Highway 90), and 6.0 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--41.4 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 2014 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 386.85 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Water Years 2015-23: Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 1,410 ft³/s, July 2, 2017, gage height, 6.93 ft; maximum gage height, 7.75 ft, Aug. 19, 2021; minimum discharge, 9.8 ft³/s, Aug. 10, 2016, gage height, 1.93 ft.
