Nassau County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02030202, at southwest side
of Eisenhower Couny Park, near wading pool, 87 ft north of
fence line along Hempstead Turnpike, northernmost well, East
Meadow.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 585 ft. Upper casing
diameter 4 in; top of first opening 560 ft, bottom of last
opening 580 ft. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1990 to March 1998, March 2002 to
January 2011, and October 2012 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-level recorder installed August 2002;
15-minute recording interval. Periodic manual measurements made
by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Cellular water-level telemeter at
station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level
recorded, 57.33 ft above NGVD 29, April 17, 2010; lowest
recorded, 43.60 ft above NGVD 29, August 28, 2002.
