LOCATION - Lat 35°10'54", long 106°23'33" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bernalillo County, NM, Hydrologic Unit 13020201, Elevation is 8,020 ft referenced to National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 2007 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Unshielded, standard 6-in. diameter tipping bucket rain gage with 8-in. diameter funnel, mounted to top of an 8 ft tall aluminum tower. Rain gage is connected to an electronic data logger with a 15-minute recording interval. Snowfall adapter with an antifreeze reservoir is mounted to top of rain gage funnel during the winter months (typically November through March).
