INSTRUMENTATION - PRECIPITATION: Unshielded, standard 8-in. diameter tipping-bucket precipitation gage mounted 8 ft above gage platform. AIR TEMPERATURE: Thermistor temperature sensor mounted within a solar shield mounted 8 ft above gage platform.
