LOCATION - Lat 18°01'41.1", long 66°32'47.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Ponce Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, 0.69 mi (1.10 km) south of Highway 52 of the intersection with State Road 506, 0.28 mi (1.98 km) east of Central Mercedita; and 2.74 mi (4.41 km) west of Fort Allen Naval Radio Station.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 101.7 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: 8-IN INSIDE CASING, INSIDE METAL SHELTER., 3.34 ft above land-surface datum, April 30, 2009, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 25, 2007 to July 29, 2010, discontinued.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Real-time telemetry observation well. Site discontinued on July 29, 2010 as requested by land owner. Well discontinued July 20, 2010.
