LOCATION - Lat 27°06'48", long 82°27'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.1, T.39 S., R.18 E., Sarasota County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100201, on southwest corner of Donna Bay, near the Intercoastal Waterway, approximately 4,000 ft west of Venice Inlet and Gulf of Mexico.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2003 to September 2010 (tidal high-high and low-low gage heights only); October 2010 to current year (maximum and minimum gage heights only).
REVISED RECORDS - WDR FL-84-3A:Maximum gage height. WDR-US-2011:Datum published in WDR-US-2007 through WDR-US-2010.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Sarasota County.
REMARKS - Gage height at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. The extremes for periods published previously as tidal high-high and low-low gage heights are equivalent to maximum and minimum gage heights.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 3.76 ft, Jan. 17, 2016; minimum, 1.79 ft below NGVD 29, Feb. 18, 2004.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS

COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Sarasota County.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor consisting of specific conductance and temperature sensor. The sensor is at a fixed depth of 2.0 ft below National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
