USGS 13157296 ROCKING R RANCH CANAL NR HAMMETT ID

LOCATION.--Lat 42° 58'03", long 115° 38'00"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4 sec.21, T.5 S., R.7 E., Elmore County, Hydrologic Unit 17050101, Bruneau Dunes quad., on downstream side of bridge at county road crossing, 9 mi west of Hammett.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1986 to September 1997 (irrigation seasons only) (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,930 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Canal carries water pumped from the right bank of the Snake River.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum daily discharge, 60 ft3/s June 23, 1996; no flow for long periods each year.
