LOCATION.--Lat 43° 35'50", long 111° 28'25" (NAD27), in SE1/4 sec.11, T.3 N., R.42 E., Bonneville County, Wheaton Mountain quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040104, 600 ft above mouth, and 5.5 mi east of Chokecherry.
DRAINAGE AREA.--21.1 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July to September 1917 (published as Burns Creek near Heise), May 1934 to October 1936 (no winter records, discontinued).
GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 5,140 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--One small diversion for irrigation of less than 100 acres above station.
COOPERATION.--U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 331 ft3/s May 14, 1936,
gage height, 3.45 ft; minimum, 4 ft3/s several days in September, October, 1934,
and August 1935.
