The model simulates a pumping test in glaciofluvial valley fill near a river. In the pumping test, the discharge rate of the well was 0.963 cubic feet per second for 36 hours. The initial estimates of aquifer transmissivity varied from 1.15 ft2/s to 1.45 ft2/s. In the original model, the aquifer was treated as confined and the same approach will be used here. Some other characteristics of the model are given in the table below.
