This example is based on Andersen (1993) which, in turn, is based on Pinder and Bredehoeft, (1968).

The goals of this example are the following:

1.Illustrate how to import DXF files.

2.Learn how to resize objects.

3.Gain greater familiarity with assigning aquifer properties.

4.Learn more about MODFLOW stress periods.

5.Learn more about coloring the grid.

6.Introduce head observations.

7.Learn about generating grids with varying cell sizes.

8.Introduce GW_Chart and Model Viewer.
