The Specify Mesh dialog box is used to edit either the two-dimensional SUTRA mesh seen on the top view of the model or fishnet-mesh quadrilaterals used to define the two-dimensional SUTRA mesh. The dialog box is displayed by selecting Mesh|Specify Mesh... or Mesh|Specify Fishnet-Mesh Quadrilaterals...

The dialog box contains two tabs: one for node coordinates and the other for the node numbers that define the elements. When specifying fishnet-mesh quadrilaterals, two additional columns are used for specifying the number of elements in the first and second directions respectively. The first direction is between nodes 1 and 2. The second direction is between nodes 2 and 3.

It is the user's responsibility to specify a valid mesh in the Specify Mesh dialog box.

The element order (and numbering) can be changed by dragging a row on the elements tab to a new position in the table.
