PEST will run your model multiple times. Sometimes during the testing of potential parameters, the model might not meet the convergence criteria but still reach an acceptable solution. If the model halts prematurely because of this, PEST may not be able to continue. The STOPERROR option in MODFLOW-2005 allows MODFLOW to continue even if the convergence criteria have not been met. Select Model|MODFLOW Options and check the checkbox for the STOPERROR option on the Options tab.
