The menu items under Navigation are listed in table 10. The commands under this menu are used for changing what portion of the model is visible.

Zoom button Zoom

Drag to zoom in to a specific area. See Changing the Magnification for more information.

Zoom In button Zoom In

Zoom in by a factor of two. See Changing the Magnification for more information.

Zoom Out button Zoom Out

Zoom out by a factor of two. See Changing the Magnification for more information.

Pan button Pan

Move the displayed area that is shown on the top, front, or side view of the model by clicking with the left mouse button and dragging while holding the mouse down. It is also possible to move the displayed area by clicking and dragging with the middle mouse button even if another tool is selected.

ZoomToFit Restore Default 2-D View

Position the 2-D views so that most or all of the grid is visible and so that the grid nearly fills the working area.

ZoomUndo Undo Position

Return the top, front, and side views to the previous position and magnification

ZoomRedo Redo Position

Cancels Undo Position

Go To...

Go to a location, element, or object. See Go To dialog box.

RulerButton Measure

Measure the distance between locations on the top, front, or side views of the model. Click on one of the 2D views to begin measuring. Double-click to stop measuring. The distance will be displayed near the cursor.
