This pane is a subpane of the FMP: Farm Process pane on the MODFLOW Packages and Programs dialog box.

Adjust solver closure criteria to allow convergence of the FMP pumping requirement to pumping simulated by the linked MNW1 or MNW2 packages (MNWCLOSE option)

Check this check box if you want MODFLOW-OWHM to adjust the head and flow closure criteria in the MNW1 or MNW2 packages.

Criterion for actual MNW pumping rate to converge to FMP pumping requirement (QCLOSE)

Convergence occurs when the desired pumping rate divided by the actual pumping rate minus 1 is less than or equal to QCLOSE. (QDES/QACT -1 <= QCLOSE)

Fraction of reduction of head-change closure criterion if QCLOSE was not met (HPCT)

The head change criterion in the solver will be reduced by the fraction HPCT if QCLOSE is not met.

Fraction of reduction of residual-change closure criterion if QCLOSE was not met (RPCT)

The residual change criterion in the solver will be reduced by the fraction RPCT if QCLOSE is not met.

Minimum fraction of model cell thickness before pumping reduction is initiated (PSIRAMPF)

If the NWT solver is used, PSIRAMPF is the minimum fraction of the cell thickness that must be saturated before pumping reduction is initiated. It is equivalent to PHIRAMP. The default value for PSIRAMPF is 0.1 but the default value for PHIRAMP is 1e-6.

Minimum saturated thickness of model cell before pumping reduction is initiated. (SATTHK)

If the NWT solver is used, SATTHK is the minimum absolute cell thickness that must be saturated before pumping reduction is initiated.
