HGU_VANI(HGU_Unit_Number) returns the vertical anisotropy in a hydrogeologic unit as defined by VANI parameters in the HUF package. The hydrogeologic unit in question must be designated as defining vertical hydraulic conductivity through the ratio of horizontal to vertical hydaulic conductivity (HGUVANI). The primary purpose of this function is to enable comparison of the values specified with parameters for a hydrogeologic unit with the conceptual model.
