GNC: Ghost-Node Correction Package

The Ghost-Node Correction package is used to specify the ghost nodes in MODFLOW 6 DISV models. The GNC: Ghost-Node Correction Package pane is on the MODFLOW Packages and Programs dialog box under Flow Packages.

The user must specify whether to use an implicit or explicit formulation for ghost nodes. See the MODFLOW 6 documentation for further details. The locations and weights for ghost nodes are assigned automatically by ModelMuse. The implicit option may make the solution less stable but should result if a more accurate solution if the model does converge.

The Ghost-Node Correction package can not be used with the XT3D option in the Node Property Flow package.

In ModelMuse, all other information for the Ghost-Node Correction package are determined automatically when the user switches to a DISV grid.
