The Edit Feature Formula dialog box can be used to modify selected formulas for existing model features in multiple objects without changing other formulas for the same features. For example, it can be used to change the conductance formula for a MODFLOW River boundary without changing the formula for the river elevation.

The Edit Feature Formula dialog box is displayed by clicking the Edit feature formula button on either the Select Objects for Editing or Deletion dialog box or the Object Properties dialog box. The button on the Object Properties dialog box is only visible when the MODFLOW Features tab is selected and more than one object is being edited.

To modify a formula select the type of feature and then the particular property of the feature whose formula is to be modified from the list on the left. The new formulas can be assigned to all the properties of a particular type or only those between a specified starting and ending time. The new formula is specified in the text field occupying the bottom right part of the dialog box. If desired, the Formula Editor can be used to edit the formula. Only limited validation of the formula will occur so it is up to the user to ensure that the new formula is valid. Clicking the Apply button will assign the new formula to the selected objects.

The Edit Feature Formula dialog box can not be used to create new features in or insert new times into objects that lack them; it can only be used to edit existing features.
