The Criteria for Simplifying Objects dialog box is displayed when the user has one or more objects selected and then selects "Object|Edit|Simplify Selected Objects." The dialog box has two edit boxes.

Minimum allowable angle at node to be deleted (degrees): If this angle is greater than zero, only vertices that have an included angle greater than the specified value will be considered for deletion.

Maximum allowable distance between vertex being removed and its neighbors: If this value is greater than zero, only vertices that are no further apart from both their neighbors will be considered for deletion.
