# METADATA Data Description:
#
# ABSTRACT:
#
#	This data set contains site locations, watershed characteristics, and starting date of sample
#	collection for the 20 selected streams in the northeastern and midwestern United States. The
#	watershed characteristics are from the U.S.G.S. digital drainage-basin and land-characteristic files
#	as detailed in Phillips and others, 2007 (DOI 10.1021/es070301+). The data was used in a report
#	documenting temporal trends in 20 selected streams as a part of the U.S. Geological Survey, National
#	Water Quality Assessment Program.
#
#
# SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
# PROCEDURES USED:
#	PROCESS STEP:
#
#	Data for 20 Urban NAWQA sites was retrieved in October 2005 from the NAWQA Data Warehouse. Site
#	location information, watershed area, population density, watershed in agriculture and begining sample
#	collection year were put into table format for Supporting Table 1. This site information is referenced in
#	the paper: Temporal Changes in Surface-Water Insecticide Concentrations after the Phaseout of Diazinon
#	and Clorpyrifos, and is useful for Figure explanations.

#	All files below were used in the analysis for the report Phillips and others, 2007 (DOI 10.1021/es07301+).
