loads 100 sites were used to collect intermittent surface-water
streamflow, total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), and
suspended sediment (SS) from a variety of Federal, State
and local agencies in Oregon, Washington and Idaho to
compute short term loads and trends.

The naming convention for each metadata file is as follows:

				(1st example) METADATA.01a050.12213100

01a050 = Water quality samples were collected at
Washington Department of Ecology station no. 01a050
				(Nooksack River at Brennan, WA)

12213100 = Streamflow measurements were collected at
USGS station no. 12213100 (Nooksack River at Ferndale, WA)

				(2nd example) METADATA.12056500.txt

12056500 = Both water quality samples and streamflow
measurements were collected at USGS station no.
12056500 (NF Skokomish River below Staircase Rapids
				near Hoodport, WA)
