Abstract:

This data set consists of 1990 and 2000 population density for NAWQA sampling sites.

The population data sets are from the 1990 and 2000 Census of Population and Housing. Kerie Hitt prepared the population density input values. The sampling sites are from the NAWQA data warehouse.

Purpose:

This is one of the ancillary GIS data layers developed to characterize NAWQA sampling sites for national synthesis of water-quality data.

Supplemental_Information:

The data set includes sites in AK and HI.
