Abstract:

This data set consists of 1980-97 mean annual precipitation and temperature for NAWQA sampling sites. The precipitation and temperature data are from DAYMET. The precipitation and temperature input grids were prepared by James Falcone. The sampling sites are from the NAWQA data warehouse.

Purpose:

This is one of the ancillary GIS data layers developed to characterize NAWQA sampling sites for national synthesis of water-quality data.

Supplemental_Information:

The input data set did not include Alaska and Hawaii.
