Summary

These data were released prior to the October 1, 2016 effective date for the USGS’s policy dictating the review, approval, and release of scientific data as referenced in USGS Survey Manual Chapter 502.8 Fundamental Science Practices: Review and Approval of Scientific Data for Release. The Coquille River system is an unregulated system that encompasses 2,745 square kilometers of southwestern Oregon and flows into the Pacific Ocean near the town of Bandon, Oregon. Purpose

These data were created to support preliminary assessment of channel stability and bed-material transport on Coquille, Middle Fork Coquille, and North Fork Coquille Rivers, southwest Oregon. This mapping was used to track changes in channel morphology and planform over time.
