Summary

These data were released prior to the October 1, 2016 effective date for the USGS’s policy dictating the review, approval, and release of scientific data as referenced in USGS Survey Manual Chapter 502.8 Fundamental Science Practices: Review and Approval of Scientific Data for Release. These data are derived from a point shapefile created nightly from data in the Utah Division of Water Rights Database. The source data were acquired on October 26, 2005.

Purpose

The source data is primarily used by the Division of Water Rights as a complete record of point of diversion locations. These data are presented in the current form in support of the Basin and Range Carbonate Aquifer System Study (BARCAS).
