Working with the Hydro Location Inventory and NLDI: Demonstrated using a version of the National Inventory of Dams

Description:

The Hydro Location Inventory repository contains workflows that map hydrographic features (such as streamgages, hydrologic monitoring locations, or infrastructure that impacts water conveyances) from source datasets to a known digital stream network. The following use case demonstrates a workflow from the repository that takes a published spatial dataset (a modified version of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers National Inventory of Dams (NID)), addresses the points to a digital stream network, associates additional identification attributes, and formats and publishes the dataset to the Network-Linked Data Index (NLDI).
