Description:

PyNHD is a python package that can be used to navigate and subset NHDPlus mid- and high-res NHD, NHDPlus, and NHDPlus VAA using web services. PyNHD is part of the HyRiver (formerly named hydrodata) suite of Python packages that provides a unified API for retrieving geospatial/temporal data from various web services.
PyNHD runs only on the specific datasets mentioned in this description. We provide links to WMA Integrated Data & Tools Catalog entries for these data sets in the ‘Linked Catalog Datasets’ section, when possible. Not all of the data sets that this service provides are included in the NHGF Data Catalog , so please see the source for a comprehensive list of available data.
