Continuing the response to Tropical Storm Rachel, Nevada is deploying three teams today to conduct recession measurements and assess post–high‑water shifts, with the potential to flag high‑water marks for indirect measurements at one or two sites depending on access. Target basins include the Virgin and Muddy Rivers, the Las Vegas Wash, and the Amargosa River.
