PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (TX) Rainfall & Continued Flooding in Texas

Date: Sat, 18 Jul 2026 10:17:45 EDT

Summary: Update concerning continued rainfall and flooding across portions of Texas.

The rainfall has pushed off further to the West and the intensity has decreased. Flooding will continue down stream to South Texas and the Lower Texas Coast. There is flooding along the Llano River all of those sites were measured yesterday, when flooding was at or near its peak. We are expecting things to calm down as flood waters make it into lakes. Unless we are responding to new flooding this will be the last project alert.
