PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (AL LA MS) Sunday flood response in impacted areas of AL,MS, & LA

Summary: Lower Mississippi-Gulf(LMG) WSC field teams are making measurements at flood-impacted USGS stations in southern Mississippi today.
Two field teams from the LMG WSC Jackson, MS, Office will be making discharge measurements to verify existing rating models at the following USGS streamgaging stations today:
-02473000 Leaf River at Hattiesburg, MS
-02474560 Leaf River at New Augusta, MS
-02475000 Leaf River at McLain, MS
-02478500 Chickasawhay River at Leakesville, MS
Measurement efforts are expected to continue tomorrow, Monday 6/22. Additional project alerts will follow.
