Summary: Lower Mississippi-Gulf(LMG) WSC field teams are making measurements at flood-impacted USGS stations in southern Mississippi today.

Two field teams from the LMG WSC Jackson, MS, Office will be making discharge measurements to verify existing rating models at the following USGS streamgaging stations today:
-Strong River at Robert Bush RD NR Pinola, MS - USGS-02487630
-Leaf River NR Collins, MS - USGS-02472000
-Cypress Creek NR Janice, MS - USGS-02479155
-Chickasawhay River NR Waynesboro, MS - USGS-02477500
-Bouie Creek NR Hattiesburg, MS - USGS-02472500

Yesterday's teams from the LMG WSC Jackson, MS, Office collected 7 measurements including 3 peaks for period-of-record that required 2 rating model extensions.

It has not yet been determined if measurement teams will be sent out tomorrow, Sunday 6/21. If teams are sent, additional Project Alerts will follow.
