PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (AL LA MS) Flood response at impacted areas of AL,MS, & LA

Summary: Lower Mississippi-Gulf(LMG) WSC field teams are making measurements at flood-impacted USGS stations in southern Mississippi today

Two field teams of 2 personnel each from the Jackson, MS, office of the LMG WSC are making discharge measurements at the following stations today:
-02481000 Biloxi at Wortham, MS. New period-of-record peak at 31.8 ft at 2am this morning. NWS Major Flood Stage 23 ft. Rating extended.
-02481510 Wolf at Landon, MS.
-02492360 West Hobolochitto Creek NR Mcneill, MS
-02492343 East Hobolochitto Creek NR Caesar, MS

Measurement teams are expected to be sent out tomorrow 6/20 from the Jackson, MS, office and additional project alerts from LMG WSC will follow.
