Summary: The Lower Mississippi-Gulf Water Science Center is making limited

Crews are currently in the field responding to flooding. One crew from the Ruston, LA, office is making measurements for rating development at 07382000-Bayou Cocodrie near Clearwater (just above NWS minor flood stage). One crew from the Baton Rouge, LA, office is making repairs to rain gages in the Baton Rouge metro and surrounding areas.

Crew deployments from the Jackson, MS, office are expected for tomorrow, 6/19/26, to make flood measurements at impacted stations near the Mississippi coast. Additional project alerts will be sent to address those efforts.
