Summary: High rainfall in the Russian River Basin causes elevated flows in the Russian River

The first in a series of atmospheric rivers forecast to hit northern California this week raised water levels and flows in Russian River basin and the surrounding areas. Area north of Ukiah received about 3 to 4 inches of rain over the last 24 hours. The Russian River near Hopland streamgage is above minor flood stage, and several others on the Russian River and in the surrounding areas are much above normal stage for this date. No peaks of record are expected from this storm.
