Summary: Drought conditions throughout Ohio are prompting special low flow measurements.
Most of the entire state of Ohio is currently under either moderate or severe drought. As a result, many cooperators are nervous about water supply. Therefore, the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Water Science Center, and more specifically, Ohio have been sending out crews this entire week to capture low flow measurements in the Scioto and Great Miami River basins.
Ohio has sent out two crews beginning Tuesday and continuing today to capture low flow measurements in response to this current drought.
