Summary: Response to continued flooding in Texas.
Rainfall has started to slack off and move away from the worst affected areas. Although the current forecast is predicting a rise to moderate flood stage on the Guadalupe River at Hunt. We currently have 7 rivers in action stage and 2 in minor flood stage (source: NWDi). The following 2 sites on the Frio River are forecast to reach major flood stage. All staff are safe and accounted for.

We have 8 crews out in the field today.
Austin: Three crews are currently in the field. One crew is heading to the Colorado River at San Saba, with a possible measurement at San Saba River at San Saba, TX. Another crew is going to the Gatesville, TX area, while the third crew is heading to sites around Clifton, TX and Valley Mills, TX.
San Antonio: Four crews are currently in the field. One crew is measuring flooding on the Frio River, and another is sampling the river. The remaining two crews are heading to the Kerrville area to continue documenting high water marks.
San Angelo: One crew out flagging high water marks around Mason, TX.
