PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (TX) Heavy Rainfall and Continued Flooding

Summary: Continued Flooding response and more heavy rainfall

Overnight very heavy rainfall has once again impacted the central portion of Texas. The heaviest rainfall shifted to the Northeast with the heaviest impact between Austin and Burnet, Tx.

We have 3 gages that are not reporting.

Collecting Water quality samples from an auto-sampler.
Collecting highwater marks to confirm peak gage heights. These also be beneficial if we do any indirect measurements.
Reconnaissance of the Guadalupe River at Hunt, TX.

San Angelo: 3 crews out today.

6 measurements at 6 different sites.
Collecting highwater marks to confirm peak gage heights.

Austin: 4 crews out today

Primary focus is getting gages back online and making measurements around the Georgetown Round Rock areas.
