PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (TX) Heavy Rainfall Overnight

Summary: Heavy rainfall has led to river flooding.

Overnight very heavy rainfall has impacted the central portion of Texas. The National Weather Service has issued flash flood emergencies in parts of the following counties, Tom Green, Kerr, and Kendall counties. Many areas have rainfall total ranging from 9 to in excess of 14 inches.

Crews in the Field

San Antonio: 1 crew repaired 08166200 Guadalupe River at Kerrville, TX and is attempting a measurement. 1 crew is attempting to make a discharge measurement at 08167000 Guadalupe River at Comfort, TX.

San Angelo: No crews in the field. Sites are not accessible due to flooding in and around San Angelo and to the east of town. Water is covering the roadways.
