Summary: Response to widespread runoff on Colorado's Front Range
The Colorado Water Science Center offices in Lakewood and Pueblo are actively responding to runoff events that occurred from May 5 to May 8 along the Colorado Front Range. During this period, minor to moderate flooding was observed in urban areas, particularly affecting Colorado Springs, Denver, Pueblo, and the surrounding communities. We have identified two gages that require repairs, and our team will prioritize visits to these sites as soon as conditions permit. The rest of the gage network remains fully operational.
