PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (SC) Table Rock Wildfire in Pickens County, SC

Summary: The Table Rock Wildfire in Pickens County, SC burned two USGS gages yesterday with other gages potentially affected as the fire continues to burn.
Four other USGS gages are likely to be impacted from the fires as they are located in areas that have been evacuated. The USGS is purchasing equipment, so that they are ready to rebuild the gages once it is safe to enter the burned area. USGS has contacted Greenville Water to make them aware of the impacts to the gages.
