Summary: Field teams were successful at rebuilding gage, and no LMG staff in field today within eastern TN.
Yesterday (10-3), A team flagged over a half-mile of stream reach at Nolichucky River Embreeville (03465500) for high-water marks. Most of the left bank was inaccessible, and another visit will be required when stream levels have declined to finish effort. Goal is to complete high-water mark effort next week and begin survey.
Yesterday, (10-3) A second team from both the Nashville and Knoxville offices, were successful at installing a new streamgage for Nolichucky River at Embreeville, TN (03465500). The gage is radar based and is located on the downstream bridge from the previous location. Streamflow data are back online.
Today, all staff will be at office or traveling back, no one in the field within eastern Tennessee. Next week, teams will be focused on helping to survey high-water marks and rebuilding the gage at Pigeon River Below Power Plant nr Waterville, NC (03460795) to help support SAWSC efforts.
