Summary: Wave sensors deployed in Florida ahead of Hurricane Helene
Today the Caribbean Florida Water Science Center sent 5 teams to deploy wave sensors and barometric pressure sensors at 13 locations from Venice to Cape San Blas along the gulf coast of Florida. We also activated seasonal hurricane real-time gages in the Florida Keys, Ft Myers, and Panama City. The wave sensors will be retrieved next week and the data published on STN.
