PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (TX) Hurricane Beryl

Date: Fri, 05 Jul 2024 13:49:55 EDT

Summary: Potential flooding from Hurricane Beryl

Currently, all attention is focused on Mexico and the Gulf due to the impending Hurricane Beryl. Response teams are being organized by our local offices to address storm-related flooding. Our San Antonio office is deploying a storm surge sensor at Port Aransas, as requested through the National Oceanographic Partnership Program.

We should have a better idea of the trajectory later today or tomorrow as Beryl moves into the Gulf of Mexico.

Local offices will continue to monitor Hurricane Beryl's movement and potential impacts.
