Summary: CMWSC crews responded to high water in IA over the weekend and continue to respond this week.
As of this morning, 40 sites in Iowa are in flood status.
On Saturday in western Iowa, crews measured at 4 locations and attempted to reach a gage that wasn't transmitting. The gage that wasn't transmitting (Rock Valley) was not able to be accessed due to road Closures. Details of Measurements locations below:

On Sunday, crews made measurements at the below locations and were able to access Rock Valley. The Rock Valley gage was damaged and submerged due to significant bank erosion. Crews will work to put an RDG in place today.

Rain has stopped in Western Iowa and forecasts have been reduced since late last week. Additional response through this week may be minimal. Peaks are still forecast for eastern Iowa and measurements will continue as necessary through the week. The Lee's Summit, MO office will be assessing needs for potential response for this week along the Missouri River.
