PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NJ) Moderate to major flooding

Summary: Moderate to Major flooding in New Jersey from significant coastal storm event.
A significant coastal storm with widespread 2-3 inches of rain over a large portion of the New Jersey with areas of 4 inches or greater. The coastal storm also produced strong winds. Ground conditions leading into this event were saturated due to numerous previous storms. One gage was damaged.
5 crews are making discharge measurements
2 crews are collecting water quality samples and discharge measurements
1 crew is deploying an RDG at a damaged gage and other storm related field work.
