PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (MA RI) PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (MA RI) - UPDATE

Summary: A significant coastal storm is causing minor to moderate flooding in parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island - FLOODING CONTINUES.
Rainfall of up to 4 inches has resulted in flooding in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Six crews were deployed on 12/19 in MA and RI for discharge measurements and five more crews are out today (12/20).
Two employees from MA unit were sent to help in ME with HWMs and flood efforts with more to likely follow.
Additional discharge measurements are planned for tomorrow in the Merrimack and Charles Basins.
